MOST PRIVATE EVENTS ARE FRI, SAT & SUN, WITH POSSIBILITY OF TWO SHIFTS PER DAY, LUNCH & DINNER. OTHER DAYS ARE POSSIBLE, WITH CUSTOM QUOTE.
WEDDING CEREMONIES COMBINED WITH WEDDING RECEPTIONS REPLACE TWO SHIFTS & ARE 5 HOURS NOT 3 HOUR WINDOWS WITH CUSTOMIZED TIME FRAMES, NOT LIMITED TO DAY OR PM SHIFTS.
DAY TIME: 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with the possibility of adding an half hour planned in advance at booking. Courtesy open for hostess only 11:00 a.m sharp. Gate reopens for guests at 11:30 sharp for 30 min mingle, 12:00 pm seat, 2:00 soft close, 2:30 hard close for possible next event, unless extended 30 min planned in advance with deposit or ask day of IF still an option to extend. To gurantee best to preplan.
EVENING: - TYPICALLY 6:00 PM TO 9:00 PM, BUT MAY VARY SOME EARLIER OR LATER BASED ON DATE REQUESTED… with the possibility of adding an half hour planned in advance at booking. EXAMPLE ONLY: Courtesy open for hostess only 5:30 p.m sharp. Gate reopens for guests at 6:00 pm sharp for 30 min mingle, 6:30 pm seat, 8:30 soft close, 9:00 hard close for possible next event, unless extended 30 min planned in advance with deposit or ask day of IF still an option to extend. To gurantee best to preplan.
COURTESY OPEN: We offer when planned in advance a 30 MIN courtesy open prior to guests arriving for hostess and possibly one or two helpers. During this window, hostess may add a few personal touches if desired to personalize the event OR simply do nothing… just to come in and get settled prior to guests arriving. We open on the dot & DO NOT open any earlier than this 30 min prior, as we are still COMPLETING all the last minute touches & WANT IT TO BE PERFECT. There are benches in the driveway outside the garden gate, where arriving guests may wait for us to reopen the gate for the event. We reopen the gate for the guests on the dot/sharp. Sorry NO guests allowed in prior/during the courtesy window, as we still in our final prep phase.
Decorating Rooms: Rooms are rented fully decorated with flower RENTAL included. However, we do allow you to add some personal touches if desired during the courtesy open explained above, such as take home party favors, a framed photo or table top item at entry foyers, etc.. We do not permit any form of confetti in balloons or on table tops/inside room, nor do we allow for hanging items on walls/furniture or rearranging furniture. No oversized balloon arches or 3rd party balloon vendors or 3rd party any vendors, unless approved in advance at booking with possible add on fees. No crafty/glue/markers, messy projects.
Flowers are Rented: All flowers and holders are rented and remain property of the cafe' for use in our other events. Please inform guests not to take home to avoid additional charges to party. We always compliment a theme and promise not to clash a theme, ex. blue hydrangeas for a girl shower. While we do not guarantee an exact color or exact kind of flower, as we are at the mercy of our vendor options a couple days out, but we do always blend with your theme. We treat the party as if it were our own & very much keep in mind what you desire.
Non-Refundable Deposits: A 50% Deposit Secures your event. No reductions, nor cancellations for any reasons, as we will immediately turn away all parties requesting your date & time. We normally turn away multiple events,sometimes within the same day of booking an event.
Food Exceptions: We are happy to make some exceptions for your event in the case of food allergies/preferences, etc. ex. No cheese, no nuts, gluten free options. Please tell us 48 hours in advance, to avoid additional charges. On our end, we reserve the right to make necessary substitutions on planned food & beverage offerings in the highly unusual event of vendor complications.
Can we bring a cake? Assorted dessert pedestals are included in your event. However, we do offer an optional add-on two tiered cake decorated with flowers and twinkly lights, Click on your event type, then items included. Then, click on the cake add-on option to view. When planned in advance at time of booking, we do allow you to bring a cake from a 3rd party licensed cake vendor for a handling fee secured with deposit. Cake must be brought or delivered during the 30 min courtesy women explained above and planned in advance. Cake is brought straight to our pedestal, if desired wrapped with our twinkly lights. It is on display when guests arrive. We cut & serve. We do NOT refrigerate or receive prior to our 30 min courtesy window.
Can we bring our own wine? We have a wine & beer license and provide all beverages for our events. Our insurance strictly prohibits any outside alcohol brought onto our property.
